Sand on Whyte

Sand Carving is a world-wide performance art phenomenon, much like ice carving, and it’s coming to Old Strathcona from July 7 to 14!

Three of Ice on Whyte’s talented, award-winning artists, Delayne Corbett, Wilfred Stijger and Edith van de Wetering are creating the first ever sand carving exhibit in the South Scona Parking lot at 81Avenue and 105 Street in Old Strathcona.

Sand on Whyte will be part of the following festivities in Old Strathcona
July 7- Takin’ it to the Streets on Whyte Ave
July 7 - Old Strathcona Farmers’ Market 30th Anniversary
July 12 to 14 - Whyte Avenue Art Walk on Whyte Ave

Sand on Whyte is open daily from 10 am to 10 pm, donations are gratefully accepted.  Find Sand on Whyte in the South Scona parking lot at 81 Avenue and 105 Street.
